Load(lbs) x Distance(in) = Rotational Torque (in/lbs)
Load(lbs) x (Distance(in)+Inh.Oh(in)) = Tilt Torque (in/lbs)
1. Determine the weight of the item to be welded using the positioner (including fixtures).
2. Calculate the center of gravity of the item to be welded.
3. Using Fig.1, calculate the rotational torque required.
4. Using Fig.2, calculate the tilt torque required.
5. The Welding Positioner must have the Load Capacity equal or greater than requirements.
